To be honest it’s 96F here now ( not Texas)

South Florida feels like Satan’s armpit right now.
Possibly smells like it too.

To be honest
Liar.

Day 4 without A/C. It’s only 81 here in the ‘ Burgh.

even as a Minnesotan, after a week of 100 degrees also with no A/C, I too am ready for winter.

Meanwhile... 113° in Palm Springs at the moment.
But it’s a dry heat.

I can work on my car more when it’s snowing than in heat.

The thing sounthern people don’t get is we don’t have AC in our homes here so if its 80 outside it’s also 80 inside. Not 63

No AC? wt f m an how are you not dead already? T his is why I don’t live in the North

I grew up in Minnesota... We had central air. I’m raising in Oregon now, posting this from my lovely air conditioned house. Next week I close on a new house and one for the first things getting installed will be a new HVAC unit with c entral air. And before you call me a wuss, I spent a decade in Florida and a summer in Qatar. Air conditioning is life.

I’ve been on the bike in 100+ yesterday and today. Honestly 95 feels pleasantly cool at this point

It’s currently 72 because it just rained. One thing I love about Colorado is that because of the altitude, summer r ain is always cold and it brings the crazy hot temps down for a while.

Wut. Dry heat is better. I'll take 100 degrees in San Antonio over 90 degrees in Houston any day.

Maybe I’m so used to humid heat that dry heat absolutely wrecks me.

Accurate.

WTT: our sweaty armpit balls land for the dry heat, please.

I had window units for the past decade until I moved. It’s doable in TX. Sweaty, but doable.

“It’s a dry heat,”
They say the same thing about hell.

I disagree...I lived in AZ for a couple years and would absolutely take 105 F there vs 90F and humid in Wisconsin
